Sandquist Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

ST. LOUIS – University of Missouri-St. Louis graduate student guard Bowen Sandquist has been named to the 2022-23 Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team as announced Tuesday by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Sandquist is getting his graduate certificate in Biochemistry. He leads the GLVC in 3-point field goals made per game with 3.12 and his second in the league in 3-point field goal percentage at 46.6 percent. His 81 3-pointers are currently fourth most in a single season in school history.

To be eligible for Academic All-District and Academic All-America honors, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve who carries a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average and is at least a sophomore.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America Ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in mid-March.
