ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis softball heads back to Kansas this weekend for the Washburn Invitational. The Tritons were originally scheduled to play six games but due to the weather the schedule has been adjusted to five contests.
UMSL was scheduled to play Sioux Falls at 4 p.m. at Lake Shawnee Softball Complex on Friday afternoon but that game has been canceled. The Tritons game with Northwest Missouri scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday has been moved up to 3:30 p.m.
UMSL will play Nebraska-Kearney at 9:30 a.m. and Pittsburg State at 1:30 p.m. Both games will be played at the Lake Shawnee Complex.
On Sunday, the Tritons will take on Southwest Minnesota State at 11:30 a.m. at Washburn's Gahnstrom Field and will conclude the tournament against Emporia State at 3:30 p.m. at Lake Shawnee North.
