ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team finished the first day of the Houston Classic in 10th place with a 36-hole score of 629 (320-309) on Monday at the Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas.
Senior
Zach Unnerstall led the way for the Tritons with a score of 153 (78-75) and is tied for 22nd overall heading into Tuesday's final round. Sophomore
Leo Baudry is a shot behind Unnerstall at 154. He shot an 81 in the opening round and a 73 in round two.
Midwestern State's Seth Bearden sits atop the leader board with a score of 143 (72-71) and has a one-shot lead over Central Oklahoma's Jordan Wilson. Midwestern State is the team leader after 36 holes with a score of 596 (303-293).
Tuesday's final round is scheduled to tee off at 8 a.m.
