DENTON, Texas – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is tied for sixth place with a score of 292 after the first round of the DBU Classic at Robson Ranch Golf Club in Denton, Texas on Sunday.
Freshman
Emmy Wahl and junior
Wilma Zanderau led the way for the Tritons as each are in a eight way tie for eighth with a score of 72. Senior
Juliette Lecomte and sophomore
Hillary Currier are tied for 42nd overall with a score of 75.
Dallas Baptist's Eryn Garza, Madison Ude and Gracie Grant and UT Tyler's Arnie Taguines are in a four-way tie for first with scores of 69. As a team, DBU shot a 277 in the round and holds a 10-shot lead over UT Tyler heading into Monday's second round.
The second round gets underway on Monday at 8 a.m.
