ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis shot a school record 273 in the second round after an opening round score of 298 to finish the first day of the Midwest Regional Preview with a score of 571 on Monday at the St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Mo.
The team score of 273 is the lowest score in a round in school history.
Freshmen
Logan Mayo and
Trigg Lindahl led the way for the Tritons. Mayo shot a 139 (71-68) and is tied for second overall while Lindahl finished with a 36-hole score of 140 (76-64) and is tied for fifth overall. Lindahl's 64 in round two is tied for third lowest in school history. Sophomores
Benjamin Berger and
Dani Solavera are tied for 21st at 146. Berger turned in rounds of 76-70 and Solavera shot a 75 and followed it up with a 71. Junior
Leo Baudry had a score of 154 (80-74).
Missouri S&T's Isaac To sits atop the leaderboard with a score of 137 (65-72) and is two shots ahead of Mayo, Ferris State's Kole Putnam and Sam Harvey. Ferris State is the team leader with total score of 568 (292-276).
Tuesday's final round is scheduled to tee off at 8:30 a.m.
