ST. LOUIS – A school record 190 University of Missouri-St. Louis student-athletes were recognized on Friday (Oct. 10) during halftime of the women's soccer game as part of Academic Appreciation Night for attaining a 3.25 grade point average or higher during the Spring 2025 semester.

As a department, UMSL's student-athletes posted a cumulative GPA of 3.45 and recorded 66 straight A's. 75 percent earned higher than 3.0 and all 15 athletic programs boasted a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA.

The softball team led all teams with a 3.801 GPA, while women's tennis (3.73), men's tennis (3.71), women's basketball (3.68) and women's soccer (3.61) rounded out the top five.
