ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's basketball team concludes its season opening three-game road trip on Friday traveling to Kentucky Wesleyan for a 5:30 p.m. at the Woodward Health and Recreation Center in Owensboro, Ky.

The Tritons opened the season splitting its first contests rallying for a 54-52 win at Roosevelt last Friday and then dropped a hard fought contest at Parkside 82-73 on Saturday afternoon.

UMSL is averaging 63.5 points per game but have allowed 67 per contest. It is shooting 44 percent (46-for-104) from the floor including 36.4 percent from three and is averaging six made threes per game. The Tritons are also sharing the basketball well averaging 14 assists per outing.

Mara Rieder had a season-high 28 points in Saturday's game against the Rangers and leads the team in scoring. Jayden Kuper is averaging 12.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per outing while Morgan Ramthun leads the team in rebounding with 8.5 per game and is third in scoring at 10 points per contest.

Lexi Hanna is the team's top three-point shooter connecting on 55.6 percent of her attempts.

The Panthers enter Friday night's contest with a record of 2-1 on the season and are winners of two straight after defeating Trevecca Nazarene 75-69 in overtime on Wednesday afternoon in Nashville, Tenn.

Emma Bruwer leads KWC in scoring with 17.0 points per contest and is joined in double figures by Myah Montgomery at 11.5 points per outing.
