ST. LOUIS – The No. 18 University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team finished seventh with a score of 598 (302-296) at the Houston Classic at the Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas on Monday and Tuesday.The final round scheduled for Tuesday was canceled due to rain in the Houston area.
Logan Mayo led Tritons through 36 holes with a score of 144 (73-71) to finish tied for 15th on the individual leaderboard.
Leo Baudry turned a scorecard of 149 (74-75) for his two rounds was tied for 29th.
Dani Solavera shot a 148 (75-73) and finished tied for 32nd
Midwestern State's Seth Bearden was the individual medalist with a 36-hole score of 138 (69-69) finishing two shots ahead of Central Oklahoma's Baylor Bostick who shot a 140 (74-66). The Bronchos won the team title with a total team score of 569 (289-280).
The Tritons return to the course on Sunday (March 2) hosting the Las Vegas Desert Classic at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev.
