ST. LOUIS – University of Missouri-St. Louis junior guard
Matt Enright was named to the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-Midwest Region second team on Friday.
Enright, a first-team All-GLVC selection, leads the Tritons in scoring this season with an average of 16.4 points per outing and is ranked eighth in the GLVC in scoring. He is tied for first in the conference in three-point field goals made per game with 3.0 and is second in three-point field goal percentage at 43.7 percent and free throw percentage at 86 percent.
His 90 threes are second most in a single season in school history while his 184 made three pointers are third most all-time in school history.
UMSL, seeded fourth, will take on fifth seeded Ferris State in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday (March 15) at 7:30 p.m. at The Recreation and Activities Center on the campus of the University of Illinois Springfield in Springfield, Ill.
