ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Bradley Intercollegiate at Detweiler Park in Peoria, Ill., on Friday evening. The Triton men finished ninth overall with 261 points while the women were 14th with 438 points.
Will Kaempfe continued his impressive start to the season finishing seventh in the 8K race with a personal best time of 24:53.00 in the event. He was followed by
Devon Fanning and
Luke Stevenson who finished with season best times of 27:16.50 and 27:22.60 respectively.
Aaron Guss ran a personal best time of 28:49.90 and
Armando Montoya touched the line at 29:34.90.
For the Triton women,
Bella Massaro led the way finishing the 5K race in a time of 19:29.80. She was followed by
Bridget Ragan at 20:28.90,
Hannah Richardson came in at 21:15.30,
Ansley Casey touched the line with a time of 21:40.10,
Dylan Jinks had a time of 21:54.50 and
Zoey Losch finished at 25:44.60.
UMSL returns to the course on Saturday (Oct. 11) competing at the Hannibal-LaGrange Trojan Invitational in Hannibal, Mo.
