Women’s Golf Ranked Fourth in Third NCAA Regional Rankings

ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is ranked fourth in the third installment of the NCAA East Regional Rankings that were released Friday (April 10) afternoon.

The Tritons are one sixGreat Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) teams represented in this week's rankings. Indianapolis is third while Lewis, McKendree and Maryville are ninth, 10th and 1th respectively and Illinois Springfield is 17th.

The top 18 teams in the East Region in the final rankings will participate in the NCAA East Regional (May 4-6) at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio. The five lowest scoring teams along with two individuals not with an advancing team will then advance to the NCAA Championships (May 12-16) at PGA National in West Palm Beach, Fla.

UMSL is back in action this Sunday (April 12) and Monday (April 13) hosting the UMSL Spring Invitational at Norwood Hills Country Club.
