WEEKLY REWIND…

Men's Golf
The Tritons won their first Great Lakes Valley Conference title since 2022 and fourth overall with a 4-1 win against Missouri S&T in the medal/match play final last Friday at Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru, Ind. Trigg Lindahl was named to the GLVC's All-Tournament team.

Women's Tennis
The Tritons clinched their first GLVC East Division title with a 7-0 win at Illinois Springfield on Saturday. UMSL gets a bye to the GLVC Tournament semifinals and will take on the winner of the match between Maryville and Drury on Saturday at Center Grove High School in Indianapolis.

Baseball
The Tritons went 4-1 last week sweeping a four-game series against Lincoln. Mitch Bonczkowski tied the UMSL single season record of 59 runs batted in with his four RBIs in Sunday's victory. UMSL clinched a spot in the GLVC Tournament for the third straight year with its sweep of the Blue Tigers.

Softball
The Tritons clinched a spot in the GLVC Tournament with its 5-4 win over Quincy in game one of Sunday's doubleheader. Maddie Illingworth broke a 3-3 tie with a solo home run in the seventh inning.

Men's Tennis
The Tritons snapped a nine-match losing streak with a 6-1 win at Illinois Springfield in its season finale on Saturday afternoon in Springfield, Ill. Daniel Berdecio, Percy Siercke, Henry Roberts and Joan Garros each went 2-0 in the match.
