ST. LOUIS – University of Missouri-St. Louis sophomore Tommy Griese has been named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Tennis Team, as announced Thursday by the league office.

Griese earns All-GLVC honors for the first time in his career. He owns a 5-7 singles record primarily at No. 1, including 2-2 in conference play and is 5-7 in doubles play with partner Percy Siercke.

Additionally, Henry Roberts was one of 11 student-athletes named as their team's James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honoree for distinguishing themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These individuals are also in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports competition setting. They are now eligible to become one of their school's two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced at the end of the academic year.

UMSL finished the season with a record of 4-14 including 1-3 in GLVC competition.
