PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is in seventh place with a total team score of 610 (304-306) after the second day of the NCAA Women's Golf Championships at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
The eight teams with the lowest scores after the conclusion of Thursday's round will advance to the medal/match play portion of the championships starting on Friday.
Wilma Zanderau leads the way for the Tritons as she's tied for ninth with a score of 148 (77-71) after 36 holes of play.
Emmy Wahl and
Alaina Ervin each posted scores of 77 in the second round. Wahl is tied for 29th with a total score of 152 (75-77) while Ervin is tied for 42nd at 154 (77-77).
Hillary Currier and
Mayan Covarrubias have scores of 156 (75-81) and 164 (82-82) respectively.
Wingate's Amely Bochaton is atop the player leaderboard with a score of 135 (68-67) and is eight shots ahead of Henderson State's Lily Nelson and Dallas Baptist's Ella Cheek heading into Thursday's final round. DBU has a one-shot lead over Wingate for the team lead through 36 holes.
The final round of stroke play at the NCAA Championships tees off on Thursday at 6:30 a.m. (CDT).
