WEEKLY REWIND…

Women's Golf
The Tritons finished eighth in the stroke play portion of the NCAA Championships with a total team score of 915 (304-306-315) at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Wilma Zanderau finished in a tie for 15th with a 54-hole score of 225 (77-71-77). UMSL earned the number eight seed in the medal/match play championship and took top seeded Wingate to the wire losing 3-2 in the quarterfinal contest.

Baseball
The Tritons picked up their first NCAA Tournament since 1996 defeating Wayne State (Mich.) 10-5 in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament last Thursday in Springfield, Ill. UMSL dropped its next two contests against Illinois Springfield and UIndy to end its season with a record of 34-22 its most wins in a season since 2003.
