ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team moved up a spot and are in fifth place after the second round of the WinStar Invitational at Winstar Golf Club in Thackerville, Okla. The Tritons shot a total team score of 302 and are at 601 (299-302) heading into Tuesday's final round.
Alaina Ervin led the way for UMSL on Monday shooting a 73 with five birdies in her round and is tied for 15th overall with a score of 149 (76-73).
Mayan Covarrubias had a pair of birdies in her round to finish with a score of 74.
Hope Williams shot a 76 and
Hillary Currier posted a score of 79.
Sarah Cuney shot an 80,
Josefin Hansson had an 81 and
Brooke Inchiostro, competing as an individual shot an 83.
Dallas Baptist's Madison Ude is the individual leader after 36 holes with a score of 138 (69-69) and leads Southeastern Oklahoma's Emma Thompson by two shots. DBU posted a total team score of 277 in the second round and sits atop the team leaderboard with a score of 567 (290-277).
