AT BELLARMINE: LIVE STATS | AUDIO | VIDEO
AT SOUTHERN INDIANA: LIVE STATS | AUDIO | VIDEO

SETTING THE SCENE
UMSL begins a three-game road swing at Bellarmine on Thursday before traveling to Southern Indiana on Saturday. The Tritons are closing out the regular season with four of their final five games on the road.

SIZING UP THE TRITONS
UMSL has won five straight and is 16-5 overall, including 9-4 in the GLVC, and sits in fourth place in the West Division - one game behind Truman State and two and a half games ahead of Maryville. Four players average double figures, including senior Hazaria Washington, who paces the squad with 13.3 points and a team-best 41 steals. Senior Devonna Smith follows with 12.9 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, but in GLVC-only contests is averaging 13.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game.

SWEET 16
UMSL's 16 wins are the program's most since the 2005-06 squad posted a 16-12 mark. The Tritons have also clinched a winning season for the second straight year under head coach Katie Vaughn. The Tritons finished 15-12 last year in Vaughn's first season, marking the first time since 2005-06 that the program had a winning record. UMSL last had back-to-back winning seasons in 1999-00 and 2000-01.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Bellarmine is 11-10 overall, including 7-6 in the GLVC, and sits in fourth place in the East Division standings, one game behind Southern Indiana. The Knights have lost two straight, including a 100-88 double overtime setback at Truman State last Saturday. The Knights are led by Sarah Galvin's 12.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. Bellarmine ranks sixth in GLVC-only games, averaging 78.6 points per game, but is 15th in scoring defense, allowing 79 points per game.

Southern Indiana enters a Thursday game against Maryville with a 14-7 overall mark, including a 7-5 GLVC record. The Screaming Eagles, which are 10-1 at home, have lost their last two and sit in third place in the East Division standings, two games behind Indianapolis and one game ahead of Bellarmine. Anna Hackert averages a GLVC-best 19.9 points per game, and also grabs 9.5 rebounds per game. Defensively, the Screaming Eagles are holding GLVC opponents to 39.1 percent shooting (second in league) and 67.3 points per game (third in league).

SERIES HISTORIES
Bellarmine leads the all-time series, 21-7. UMSL won last year's meeting, a 71-61 decision in St. Louis. The Knights won the last contest in Louisville, a 79-74 decision during the 2011-12 season.

Southern Indiana hold a 27-8 advantage in the all-time series and has won eight straight and 13 of the last 14, including a 73-65 decision last season in St. Louis.

AN UMSL WIN AT BELLARMINE WOULD...
... move the Tritons' win streak to six games.
... be the Tritons' 17th win of the season - the program's most since the 1999-00 team won 19 games.
... be the Tritons' 10th GLVC win of the season - equaling the number won by last year's team, which is a program-best since 2000-01.

TEAM REBOUND
The Tritons rank seventh nationally with a rebounding margin of 9.6. UMSL been outrebounded just three times this season.

CHANCE OF A SNOW SHOWER
Junior Tierra Snow comes off the bench to average 7.6 points per game in 15.5 minutes per game. She is also averaging 3.7 rebounds, while shooting 58.4 percent from the field. Snow has bettered her previous career high four different times this season, most recently scoring 17 points in a home win over Saint Joseph's. Snow has also reached double figures in five of the last six games, and is averaging 11.5 points per game during that stretch.

EYEING 1,000 CAREER POINTS
Senior Devonna Smith has 929 career points at UMSL, needing just 71 to become the 13th player in program history to tally 1,000 career points. Smith needs to average 11.8 points per game in the final five regular season contests and at least one GLVC Tournament game to achieve the feat.

OTHER CAREER NOTABLES
... senior Devonna Smith is tied for ninth all-time with a 12.6 points per game career scoring average. She also ranks 10th all-time in free throws made (211), field goals made (359) and field goal percentage (.486).
... junior Kelly McGovern needs six assists to enter the all-time top 10.
... junior Alexis Lawrence needs 14 three-pointers to enter the top 10 in that category

LOOKING AHEAD
UMSL wraps up a three-game roadtrip at Quincy next Thursday before welcoming Truman State next Saturday night in the regular season home finale.
