ELSAH, ILL. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's tennis team opened the spring portion of its schedule with a 5-4 win over Bellarmine on Sunday.
The Tritons won two of three doubles matches, while the squads split the singles matches. Juniors
Nils Mueggenburg and
Harry Heyburn won an 8-0 match at No. 1 doubles before picking up singles victories with Mueggenburg at No. 1 and Heyburn at No. 5. Junior
Tim McLarty was also a dual winner, teamming with reshman
Dario Vidaurre at No. 3 doubles before claiming a 7-5, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles.
UMSL (1-1) is back on the court tomorrow night, hosting Harding at 9 p.m. at the Frontenac Tennis Club.
