ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's and women's tennis teams were each named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team. Additionally, six women and five men were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, the program must have a team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2 or above. To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must have a GPA of 3.5 or above.
Women
The women's team posted a 3.81 GPA for the 2024-25 academic year, which led all teams at UMSL.
The six women honored with the award were
Emma Bridges,
Giuliana Cunza,
Anna Favaron,
Morgan Lint,
Aleksandra Lopez and
Hannah Tse.
Men
The men's team finished the year with a 3.64 GPA.
Individually, the five men honored were
Daniel Berdecio,
Joan Garros,
Henry Roberts,
Percy Siercke and
Jose Yañez.
