LAKELAND, FLA. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's tennis team took a 2-1 lead after singles, but couldn't maintain momentum as the Tritons lost a 5-4 decision at No. 25 Florida Southern on Tuesday afternoon.

Gabriel Oliveira highlighted action for UMSL with a 7-5, 5-7, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles over No. 49 ranked Emanuel Lueber. Junior
Tim McLarty picked up the other singles win for the Tritons, taking No. 4, 4-6, 6-4, 6-0.
UMSL falls to 7-3 overall with the loss and will return to the court on Friday, hosting Truman State in a GLVC match.
