EUREKA, MO., September 6, 2016 – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team shot its third sub-300 score of the season, turning in a 290 on Saturday as the Tritons opened play at their own Fall Invitational at Oak Terrace.
The 290 ranks as the second best round in program history.
UMSL has all five golfers inside the top 10, led by freshman
Emma Thorngren and sophomore
Maxi Roth who are tied for first with a 71, and own a 20-stroke lead over Lewis in second place in the eight-team field.
The final 18 holes will be played tomorrow
