WHITE PLAINS, NY. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team turned in a second place finish at the Big Apple Lady Invitational, held Monday and Tuesday, to close out the fall portion of its schedule.
The Tritons carded a team score of 608 (300-308) in the 14-team field, which was won by Indianapolis.
Freshman
Emma Thorngren was UMSL's top finisher with a score of 146 (73-73), two shots behind medalist Pilar Echeverria of UIndy.
The Tritons return to the links March 5-6 when they host the Las Vegas Desert Classic in Las Vegas, Nev.
