ST. LOUIS, MO. – Senior
Hannah Perryman tossed two complete games, allowing one hit in 14 innings of work as the No. 7 ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis softball team swept visiting Lincoln, 8-0 (5 innings) and 5-0.
Perryman tossed a one-hitter in the opener, striking out 11, before recording her 14
th career no-hitter in the nightcap behind 16 strikeouts. She moves into a tie for third place all-time on the NCAA DII career charts with that no-no and also moves into fourth place on the NCAA DII career charts with 1,396 career strikeouts. Perryman, the career active strikeouts leader in all divisions, is now 143 strikeouts from tying the NCAA DII career mark of 1,539 held by Quincy's Torie Bunzell (2008-11).
Offensively, the Tritons tallied 22 hits with five different players tallying three hits, including senior
Erin Walker who had two home runs in the first game.
The Tritons improve to 24-1 overall, while Lincoln dips to 2-23 on the year.
UMSL returns to GLVC action this weekend with road doubleheaders at McKendree and Illinois Springfield on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
GAME 1: UMSL 8, Lincoln 0UMSL tallied 13 hits, including three home runs, two off the bat of Walker and one from freshman

Walker took the first pitch issued by Lincoln hurler Macie Kinsey for a quick 1-0 advantage, while in the second inning, freshman
Serena Olson used a bases loaded sac fly to drive in junior
Ryan Logan to make it 2-0.
The Tritons plated two runs on three hits in the third inning, scoring on back-to-back RBI singles from junior
Sara Kern and Logan for a 4-0 lead.
Osborn and Walker both homered in a three-run fourth inning, while Osborn's RBI single in the fifth ended the game.
Logan led the squad at the plate, going 3-for-3, while Walker, Osborn, sophomore
Jennah Perryman and freshman
Alicia Shivers all had two hits each.

GAME 2: UMSL 5, Lincoln 0The Tritons jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning behind an RBI single from J. Perryman and a sac fly from Logan and scored their other three runs in the fourth inning, including an RBI double form junior
Rachel Matthies and an RBI single from junior
Alex Stupek.
Matthies, Stupek and Kern had two hits each with UMSL recording nine as a team.
H. Perryman retired the first eight batters she faced and allowed just one runner courtesy of a walk to finish the game one batter over the 21 minimum.
