ST. LOUIS, MO. – Former University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball player Derek Shouse has signed a contract to play in Akranes, Iceland.
 
Shouse will play for Íþróttabandalag Akraness (1A) club team, which is in the Division I professional league of Iceland.
 
Shouse played two seasons at UMSL (2013-15) and ranks second on the career three-point field goal percentage charts at 42.9 percent. As a senior, he connected at a 44.4 percent clip from long range, draining 44 three-pointers, while playing in all 30 games and averaging 7.3 points per game.
