EVANSVILLE, IND. – One day after shooting a then school record 295, the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team went even lower, carding a 286 on its final 18 holes at the Screaming Eagles Classic, hosted by Southern Indiana.
 
The Tritons captured the team title with a school record 581, finishing 21 strokes better than runner-up Southern Indiana.
 
Individually, junior 
Stefaniya Ivanova claimed runner-up honors by turning in a 143, one stroke shy of first place. After shooting a 74 yesterday, Ivanova fired a round of 69, equaling a school record for 18 holes.

-UMSL bettered its previous 36-hole school record of 593, set in 2011-12, by 12 strokes.
-UMSL also broke single-round and 36-hole tournament records, bettering the previous 18-hole mark of 288, set by Indianapolis in 2012 and the 36-hole mark of 599, set by UMSL in 2010.
-Ivanova is the fifth player to turn in a 69 and the first since Tayler Hoag did so during the 2012-13 season.
-Ivanova's score of 143 equals the second-best 36-hole score, two strokes shy of her school record 141.
-Roth bettered her previous 36-hole personal best by seven strokes.
