BELLEVILLE, ILL. - The University of Missouri-St.Louis women's tennis team defeated Illinois Springfield 5-0 on Friday afternoon in quarterfinal round action of the 2017 GLVC Championship Tournament.
Originally slated to be played in the morning at Dwight Davis Tennis Center, inclement weather forced all first round matches indoors.
The Tritons improve to 14-1 overall and advance to Sunday's semifinals against the winner of the Drury and Bellarmine match.
