ST. LOUIS – For the first time since 2018 and the fourth time, in program history, the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team is headed to the NCAA Tournament.

Megan Holdridge, the Tritons, automatic qualifers, have been selected as the No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region and will face No. 5 seed Davenport on Friday, May 9 at 11 a.m. (CDT) in Allendale, Mich. No. 1 seed Grand Valley State will serve as host of the three-team bracket and will meet the winner on Saturday, May 10 at 11 a.m. at the GVSU Tennis Courts.
No. 2 seed Findlay will host the other Midwest Region bracket and will meet No. 7 seed UIndy while No. 6 seed Rockhurst and No. 3 seed Ferris State will meet in the other first round contest.
A total of 48 teams make up this year's single-elimination tournament with 20 conferences receiving an automatic bid and the remaining 28 being selected on an at-large basis. Two teams from each region will advance to the 2026 NCAA DII Women's Tennis Championships May 19-23 in Surprise, Ariz.
UMSL is 15-4 overall and is coming off winning its first Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship in program history defeating UIndy 4-2 on Sunday in the title match.
The Tritons made their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2014 and also qualified in 2017 and 2018.
