FINDLAY, OHIO – Freshman 
Emma Thorngren carded a team-best 78 on Thursday as the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team completed its second round at the NCAA DII National Championships.
 
The Tritons turned in a 324 and sit in a tie for ninth place with a score of 642 (318-324). Dallas Baptist remains atop the leader board with a 610 (299-311).
 
Individually, sophomore 
Maxi Roth is tied for 10th with a 154 (74-80).
The 12-team, 72-woman tournament consists of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently. All participants will compete throughout the entire 72 holes of competition, which concludes on Saturday.
 
Third round play tees off tomorrow morning.
