SETTING THE SCENE
The regular season comes to an end this week with two games. The Tritons will host Quincy on Thursday in the home finale before the short travel across town to Maryville on Saturday.
UMSL will be looking to secure a 20-win season for just the third time in program history and will also be looking to finish the season with a 12-0 record inside the Mark Twain Building.
With two wins this week, Tritons head coach
Katie Vaughn would also tie the program mark for most career coaching wins at 97, tying Mike Larson (1981-1989).
SIZING UP THE TRITONS
- UMSL is 18-5 overall, including 12-4 in the GLVC and are riding an 11-game win streak.
- The Tritons are the inaugural champs of the newly formed GLVC Central Division.
- UMSL sits in fourth place in the GLVC Point Rating System, which is being used to determine the eight qualifying teams for the 2018 GLVC Tournament.
 - The Tritons are 11-1 in home games, but 11-0 in games played in the Mark Twain Building, and has won all eight GLVC games at home.
- UMSL is 7-4 in road games, but has won its last four away from home.
GOING STREAKING
The Tritons' 11-game win streak is third longest in program history. The inaugural team (1974-75) holds the record for the longest with 14 games, while the 1988-89 team won 12 straight.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
Senior
Jordan Fletcher has recorded five straight 20-point outings and is averaging 24.8 points during that stretch, while shooting 71.2 percent from the field. She is averaging 15.7 points on the season and 18.4 points in GLVC-only games, which ranks fourth in the league. Fletcher is shooting a GLVC third-best 58.3 percent, which is 14th in NCAA DII.
Junior
Arielle Jackson follows with 14.2 points and 3.3 assists per game, while senior
Shawnta Johnson adds 10.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. In GLVC-only games, she averages a league-best 5.5 assists per game. In all games, her 1.47 assist turnover ratio is best in the league.

- The Tritons lead the GLVC and rank 56th in NCAA DII in assist-turnover ratio (0.99).
- UMSL is second in the GLVC in three-point field goal percentage (36.1), which ranks 31st in NCAA DII.
- The Tritons are second in the league and 13th overall in fewest fouls (338), an average of 15.8 per game.
- UMSL's scoring defense (59.1 ppg) is second in the GLVC and 35th in DII.

Jordan Fletcher ranks sixth all-time with 1,208 career points. She is also second in career blocks (130), three shy of the 133 recorded by Jennifer Martin (2005-07) and is third all-time in rebounds (630). Additionally, Fletcher's career field goal shooting percent of 57.7 is a program best. Other career listings for Fletcher include field goals made (470/5th), free throws made (268/4th) and free throws attempted (396/2nd).

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Quincy is 8-17 overall, including 4-12 in the GLVC. The Hawks are 1-8 in road games. Â
Maryville enters a Thursday road game at Illinois Springfield with a 7-15 record, including a 4-12 GLVC mark, and a 5-7 record at home.
SERIES HISTORIES/EARLIER THIS SEASON
 Quincy leads the all-time series, 32-21, although the Tritons defeated the Hawks, 80-60, earlier this season on January 20 in Quincy, Ill.
UMSL is 13-9 all-time against Maryville, which included an 83-64 win on January 18 in the Mark Twain Building. Â
