ST. LOUIS, MO. - Sophomore
Emma Thorngren tied a school record with a round of 69 on Saturday as the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team opened play at its own UMSL Spring Invitational at the Whitmoor Country Club.
Thorngren, the seventh player in program history to shoot a 69, enters the final round with a five stroke lead. With the threat of inclement weather on Sunday, play will resume on Monday at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start.
