Box Score 2 ARKADELPHIA, ARK – The University of Missouri-St. Louis softball team lost two games to open the Alvy Early Memorial Classic, hosted by Arkansas-Monticello, on Saturday. The Tritons fell, 4-3, to Southeastern Oklahoma and 10-1 to Arkansas Tech.
GAME 1: Southeastern Oklahoma 4, UMSL 3
The Storm (5-4) rallied for the win with three unanswered runs, including the game-winning solo home run in the top of the seventh.
Redshirt senior
Morgan Hill used an RBI double in the first inning to tie the game at 1-1 before an error by Southeastern Oklahoma allowed two runs to score in the fifth, giving the Tritons the 3-1 advantage.
UMSL finished with five hits, while the Storm recorded eight off of Triton senior
Andee Tiffee, who also struck out eight and walked two.
GAME 2: Arkansas Tech 10, UMSL 1
