OPENING TIP NOTES
- It's a busy week on tap for the Tritons, who play three games in five days.
- UMSL will host Drury on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m., travels to Lewis on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and wraps up the trio of games at home on Saturday, welcoming Illinois Springfield at 3:30 p.m.
- Tuesday's game against the Panthers was originally scheduled as the season-opener back in November, but had to be postponed because of COVID-19 protocols within the Drury program.
- UMSL is 5-2 overall and in the GLVC, including 3-2 at home and 2-0 on the road.
- UMSL is on a two-game win streak and is coming off a 77-56 win over Indianapolis last Saturday.
- UMSL is in third place in the GLVC Point Rating System, used to determine the field and seeding for the 2021 GLVC Tournament. Drury is seventh, while Lewis is second and Illinois Springfield is 11th.

- UMSL is second in the GLVC in scoring defense, allowing just 68.1 points per game. The Tritons have limited four opponents to 64 or fewer points, including William Jewell, which scored just 52 on UMSL.
- UMSL's opponents are shooting just 30.8 percent from three-point range, which is second lowest in the GLVC.
- UMSL ranks second in the GLVC and 13th in NCAA DII in assist-turnover ratio (1.45). They are 20th in DII and lead the GLVC in turnover margin (4.3)

- Junior Marty Jackson averages a team-best 12.0 points per game, while senior Jose Grubbs adds 11.6 points and a team-best 5.9 rebounds per game.
- Redshirt junior Steve Webb is averaging 9.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.6 steals per game. He ranks fourth in NCAA DII in assist-turnover ratio (5.75).
- Senior Shane Wissink is 11th in NCAA DII in assist-turnover ratio (3.86).

Bob Sundvold is looking for career win No. 250 this week. He sits at 248 career wins in 15 years as a collegiate head coach with 124 of those coming in eight years at UMSL.

ABOUT DRURY
Drury is 3-2 and is coming off a 74-53 loss to Truman State. The Panthers will be playing just their second road game when they visit St. Louis. Conley Garrison is third in the league with 21.2 points per game, while Drury leads the league with 82.0 points per game.

- Drury leads the all-time series 25-7.
- UMSL won both meetings last year, while Drury had won the previous 11.
