GLVC Baseball Preseason Poll Announced

INDIANAPOLIS – Lindenwood University and Quincy University have been selected to win their respective divisions for the upcoming 2021 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) baseball season, the league office announced on Wednesday.

The annual GLVC Baseball Preseason Poll was voted on by the league's 15 head coaches and ranks the top eight teams in the Green Division and seven in the Blue Division.

Each team is scheduled to play 32 Conference contests, including eight series consisting of four games apiece.

The Tritons, under the direction of third-year head coach Cory Wahl, will compete in the Blue Division.

UMSL is scheduled to open its season Feb. 26-28 by hosting Minnesota-Mankato in a four-game weekend series. The GLVC opener is set for March 12-14 at home against Drury.
