Spring '21 Semester Academics Report Card

ST. LOUIS - The final grades have been tallied for the Spring 2021 semester for UMSL student-athletes and the numbers are once again impressive. As a whole, 235 Triton student-athletes combined for a 3.42 grade point average.
 
Additionally, it marks the 16th consecutive semester UMSL student-athletes have posted at least a 3.0 combined GPA and is also the 13th straight at a 3.1 or better and the ninth straight of a 3.2 or higher.

16 of 17 athletic teams combined for a GPA of 3.0 or higher, including five that combined for a 3.5 or higher.
 
Women's golf led the department by posting a remarkable 3.93 GPA and was followed closely by women's tennis at 3.91. Men's tennis had the highest GPA among the male sports with a 3.705. Other programs that boasted a combined 3.5 GPA or higher included volleyball (3.699) and softball (3.552).

Individually, 76 percent of student-athletes posted a GPA of 3.0 or higher and 52 percent came in at 3.50 or higher. Additionally, 67 student-athletes recorded straight A's, with seven of those coming from women's golf.
 
For the 2020-21 academic year, UMSL posted a 3.45 GPA.
