SPRINGFIELD, ILL. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's and women's tennis teams were back in Springfield, Ill. on Sunday to complete the UIS Invitational. UMSL earned runner-up honors in Men's A Doubles and Women's A Doubles.

Karl Heinrichs and Marcos Navas won their semifinal match in Men's A Doubles, 8-4, to earn a spot in the final. The Triton duo fell 8-1 in the final match.

Odette Beagrie and Anna Domingo advanced to the Women's A Doubles final after an 8-4 win in their semifinal match. UMSL lost in the final, 8-4.

Anna Domingo, Leticia Lunge, Clara Lopez Bueno, and Tara Erler each advanced to the semifinals in singles, but were not able to make the final match.

Raphael Kerndl fell in the semifinals of Men's A Singles.

The UMSL women will travel to the Quincy Women's Invite on Friday, September 17th and Saturday, September 18th in Quincy, Ill.

The UMSL men will also travel to the Quincy Men's Invite, but will wait until Friday, October 8th and Saturday, October 9th.
