ST. LOUIS – The 18th ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team finished fourth with a two-day score of 916 (303-307-306) on Tuesday at the National Preview at Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka, Mo.
Tove Brunell finished fifth overall and was named to the All-Tournament team.
Brunell got off to a rough start on Tuesday as she was four over par after nine holes but got it going on the back nine with two birdies and an eagle putt on No. 13 to finish her day with a 73 and shot a 222 (76-73-73) to finish at six over par for the tournament.
Wilma Zanderau finished in a tie for eighth overall with a score of 226 (72-78-76) and was 10 over par. She shot a 39 on the front nine with a birdie putt on the par four seventh hole and shot a 37 with back-to-back birdies on 15 and 16 to finish her round with a 76.
Momo Kikuchi finished in a four-way tie for 29th with a score of 237 (81-77-79) while
Juliette Lecomte was tied for 44th at 242 (78-79-85) and
Victoria Klausner was tied for 56th with a score of 245 (77-90-78).
Henderson State's Allie Bianchi was the individual medalist with a score of 215 (71-76-68) to finish the tournament at one under par and Dallas Baptist was the team champion with a score of 896 (294-300-302).
The Tritons wrap their fall schedule next Monday and Tuesday as they travel to Old Fort Golf Club in Murfreesboro, Tenn., for the Fall Music City Invitational hosted by Trevecca Nazarene.
