FINDLAY, Ohio – The No. 18 University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team finished fourth with a score of 910 (303-306-301) at the Beall Fall Classic at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio.
Tove Brunell set a school and course record for lowest score in a round with 64 (-8) to finish second overall.
Brunell shot a 31 (-5) on the front nine with three birdies and an eagle and then on the back nine shot a 33 (-3) with three birdies. She had a three-hole stretch on 8-10 going birdie, eagle and birdie. Brunell finished the tournament with a score of 211 (74-73-64). She concluded the tournament with 11 birdies and an eagle. Her score on Tuesday was the lowest round of the tournament.
Wilma Zanderau finished in a tie for fourth with Ohio Dominican's Sydney Devore at 221 (71-78-72) to finish at five over par.
Victoria Klausner turned in a score of 234 (76-77-81) to finish in a tie for 20th.
Momo Kikuchi shot a 244 (82-78-84) and
Juliette Lecomte finished with a score of 253 (88-81-84).
Grand Valley State won the team championship with a score of 898 (300-302-296) and the Lakers Olivia Stoll was the individual medalist finishing with a score of 208 (71-71-66).
The Tritons return to the course next Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 11-12) hosting the National Preview at Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka, Mo.
