ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team moved up seven sports to No. 11 in this week's National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II Coaches Top 25, marking a new program high national ranking.
The Tritons went 3-0 last week to match their best start in program history at 8-0. UMSL went on the road and defeated then No. 22 Southwest Baptist 70-65 last Monday in Bolivar before returning home to defeat Drury 86-63 and rallied for a 76-67 win over Missouri S&T last Saturday.
Northwest Missouri State remained No. 1, while No. 7 Hillsdale joins the Tritons as the other Midwest Region team in the top 25.
UMSL concludes its three-game homestand this Saturday hosting Lewis at 3 p.m. at the Mark Twain Building.
