GAINESVILLE, GA. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team opened play at the NCAA DII Championship on Tuesday by shooting a 312, putting them in a tie for 15th place with 36 holes to play.
All 18 teams and eight individuals will complete 54 holes of stroke play after which an individual national champion will be declared. The top eight teams after 54 holes of play advance to medal/match play with the quarterfinals and semifinals being played on Friday and the national championship on Saturday.
UMSL will begin teeing off for its second round tomorrow at 9:50 a.m. (EST).
