WEEKLY REWIND…
Women's Golf
The Tritons opened its season with an eighth-place finish at the Automatic Staffing UIndy Fall Invitational last Monday and Tuesday at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel, Ind.
Wilma Zanderau was UMSL's highest overall finisher posting a score of 225 (+9) to finish in a tie for 18th.
Women's Soccer
The Tritons defeated Quincy 2-0 in its home opener last Friday night behind goals from
Maya Ware and
Jalyn Richardson.
Paige Schwartz made five saves in goal to pick up her first win and shutout of the season. UMSL dropped a 1-0 decision against Illinois Springfield on Sunday afternoon.
Men's Soccer
The Tritons went 1-1 last weekend. They defeated Quincy 4-1 on Friday evening behind two goals from
Arman Kovac and one each from
Nick Schreiber and
Gabe Stanislawski. UMSL dropped a hard fought 1-0 contest to Illinois Springfield on Sunday afternoon.
Austin Reis made a career-high 10 saves against the Prairie Stars.
Volleyball
The Tritons opened GLVC play with a sweep at Illinois Springfield last Friday evening. Charlotte Richards and Hannah Copeland combined for 21 kills in the contest. UMSL then went to Quincy on Saturday where they dropped a four-set match to the Hawks. Richards led the way for the Tritons with 16 kills in the contest.
