DENTON, Texas – The 23rd ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is seventh after the first day of the Dallas Baptist Women's Classic with a score of 584 (293-291) at Robson Ranch in Denton, Texas. Par for the course is 72 and the total yardage is 6,152.
Tove Brunell is in a tie for second overall after posting a score of 137 (-7). She had four birdies and two eagles in the second round and had two birdies in the morning session. Brunell is four shots behind Lynn's Maria Hoyos for the lead.
Wilma Zanderau is tied for eighth after shooting an even par 72 in the morning and a 71 in the afternoon for a 143. She had two birdies in her first round and five birdies in the afternoon.
Juliette Lecomte shot a 147 (+3) to finish in a tie for 30th. She had two birdies in the morning round and two more in the afternoon session.

Momo Kikuchi finished with scores of 157 (77-80) and 158 (78-80) respectively.
UMSL is back on the course tomorrow morning for the final round of the Dallas Baptist Women's Classic teeing off at 8:30 a.m.
