Women's Cross Country Luke Rinne, Assistant AD for Media Relations

Tritons Finish 25th at NCAA Midwest Regional

ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's cross country team concluded its 2023 season at the NCAA Midwest Regional at Angel Mounds in Evansville, Ind., on Saturday. The Tritons finished 25th overall with 714 points.

Junior Kayley Heeter was UMSL's top finisher as she covered the six-kilometer course in a time of 22:44.33, junior Lily Wagemann wasn't far behind crossing the line at 23:00.79. Freshman Bella Massaro came in at 23:16.81 while sophomore Megan McMillen and junior Peyton Brueck finished with times of 25:19.18 and 25:24.39 respectively. Sophomore Ella Tynan had a time of 27:16.41.

Hillsdale's Liz Wamsley was the individual winner with a time of 20:04.50 while Grand Valley State won the team title with a score of 28 points.
