ST. LOUIS – The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Committee announced on Monday (Nov. 6) the participants for the upcoming 2023 Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships.

Benjamin VandenBrink has been selected as an individual qualifier after placing 10th overall (time of 31:11.94) at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championships this past Saturday at Angel Mounds in Evansville, Ind.
VandenBrink is the first Triton in program history to qualify for the national championships.
A minimum of 24 additional individuals were selected to participate in the championship through an automatic qualifier and at-large selection process.
The St. Louis native will be alongside qualifying individuals Cortland Ross and Noah McIntyre from Illinois Springfield along with Lewis' men's team that will represent the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
The NCAA Championship meet will be held on Saturday (Nov. 18) at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course on the campus of Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Mo. The men's race begins at 11:15 a.m.
