ST. LOUIS – The No. 15 University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is tied for 10th place with a score of 617 (314-303) after the first day of the Southern Invite hosted by Central Oklahoma at Cypresswood – Cypress Course in Houston, Texas.
Tove Brunell and
Wilma Zanderau are in a six-way tie for 18th with a score of 149 after the first 36 holes. Brunell shot a 77 in the morning round followed by an even par round of 72 in the afternoon session. Zanderau had rounds of 75 and 74.
Momo Kikuchi finished her two rounds with a score of 157 (79-78) while
Victoria Klausner shot a 162 (83-79).
Top ranked Dallas Baptist holds a four-shot lead over seventh ranked West Texas A&M heading into Tuesday's final round. DBU's Olivia Mitchell is the individual leader with a score of 142 (71-71).
The final round of the Southern Invite gets underway on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
