ST. LOUIS – The No. 15 University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team finished eighth with a score of 927 (314-303-310) at the Southern Invite hosted by Central Oklahoma at Cypresswood – Cypress Course in Houston, Texas on Monday and Tuesday.
Wilma Zanderau finished in a tie for 16th with a score of 224 (75-74-75) while
Tove Brunell finished in a tie for 20th with a two-day total of 225 (77-72-76).
Momo Kikuchi and
Victoria Klausner finished with scores of 238 (79-78-81) and 240 (83-79-78) respectively.
Zanderau was tied for fourth in the tournament with nine birdies over the course of three rounds while Klausner was tied for second with her eagle in Tuesday's round on hole number one. Brunell and Kikuchi each finished with six birdies during the tournament.
Dallas Baptist won the team championship with a two-day score of 879 (294-284-301) and DBU's Jordan Karth was the individual medalist with a score of 216 (73-71-72).
