INDIANAPOLIS – The No. 19 ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is tied for eighth place with a score of 621 (318-303) after the second round of the Emerald Coast Classic at Baytowne Golf Club in Destin, Fla., on Monday. Sunday's first round was postponed due to weather and was finished on Monday morning followed by round two.
Tove Brunell is tied with Arkansas Tech's Ellen Spigner for third on the individual leader board with 36-hole total of 146. Brunell shot a 74 (+3) on Sunday and turned in a score of 72 (+1) on Monday. She is two shots off the lead held by Henderson State's Lily Nelson.
Momo Kikuchi and
Juliette Lecomte are tied for 43rd with a score of 158 as each shot an 81 on Sunday and a 77 on Monday.
Wilma Zanderau and
Victoria Klausner are tied for 50th at 159 (82-77).
Henderson State is the team leader through 36 holes with a score of 589 (295-294) and has a 13-shot lead over West Florida heading into the final round on Tuesday.
The final round of the Emerald Coast Classic gets underway at 8 a.m. (CDT) on Tuesday.
