ST. LOUIS – The No. 22 University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team finished third with a score of 922 (305-314-303) at the Findlay Spring Invite at the University Club of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky., on Monday and Tuesday.
Tove Brunell was the Tritons top finisher as she was tied for fourth with a final score of 222 (71-78-73) and was named to the all-tournament team.
Wilma Zanderau finished in a tie for 11th with a 54-hole total score of 226 (74-76-76). Brunell and Zanderau were tied for fifth in the tournament with eight birdies.
Victoria Klausner shot a 236 (78-82-76),
Juliette Lecomte had a score of 241 (84-78-78) and
Momo Kikuchi had final score of 243 (82-83-78).
Tiffin's Lisa Marie Schumacher was the individual medalist with a score of 215 (73-73-69). Anderson (S.C.) was the team champion with a score of 888 (300-297-291).
UMSL returns to the links April 3-4 when it competes in the North Georgia Bracket Challenge at Chimney Oaks Golf Club in Homer, Ga.
