ST. LOUIS – The No. 22 ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team earned the top seed in Tuesday's Great Lakes Valley Conference match after finishing first in the 54-hole stroke play.
The Tritons posted a team score of 867 (295-289-283) and finished 18 strokes ahead of Missouri S&T (309-286-290 – 885) in the 11-team field.
UMSL will face No. 4 seed Maryville in Tuesday's semifinal at 8 a.m., while S&T will face No. 3 seed McKendree. The winners of the two semifinals will meet in the afternoon for the GLVC team title. The Tritons are in match play for the ninth straight year.

Nick Hedberg and
Juan Antonio Padilla earned All-GLVC honors with their top five finishes. Henault finished second with a score of 213 (74-70-69), Sylven finished a shot behind Henault for third at 214 (73-72-69) while Hedberg and Padilla were tied for fifth with a score of 220. Hedberg shot a 73-75-72 and Padilla finished with scores of 75-72-73.
