ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team dropped a 3-2 decision to Illinois Springfield on Sunday in one of two semifinals of the GLVC Championship Medal/Match Play.
The Prairie Stars, seeded third, advanced to the championship match taking on top seeded Indianapolis who defeated fourth seeded Drury 5-0 in the other semifinal.
Tove Brunell won her match by 10 strokes, while
Juliette Lecomte won her a match by a stroke.
The Tritons will officially learn of its postseason bid next Monday (May 2). The NCAA East Regional will be held May 8-10 at Panther Creek Golf Club in Springfield, Ill.
