ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is in fourth place with a score of 626 (318-308) after the first day of the UMSL Spring Invitational at Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis. The Tritons finished the day with 18 birdies which leads the tournament.
Tove Brunell shot a 150 (74-76) in her two rounds and is third on the individual leaderboard.
Wilma Zanderau is tied for 12th at 155 (80-75),
Victoria Klausner had a 36-hole score of 159 (81-78) and is tied for 23rd.
Juliette Lecomte finished her day shooting a 163 (84-79) and is tied for 30th while Momo Kikucki shot a 168 (83-85) and is tied for 42nd overall.
Grand Valley's Olivia Stoll is the individual leader with a 145 (74-71) and the Lakers are the team leader with a two-round score of 610 (299-311).
The UMSL Spring Invitational concludes on Monday and will get underway at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.
